FEELING CONFIDENT & IN CONTROL OF YOUR REVENUE
Let’s talk about how good you feel when you talk to a potential customer.
How do you feel on a scale from 0-100 about your sales process?:
1. SCRIPT – Do you have a simple sales script? With visuals to make sure it’s simple?
2. CUSTOMER – Do you know what type of customer you can help? And why they buy vs. when they don’t?
3. OBJECTIONS – Do you know why a customer does NOT buy? And how to address these concerns so they may be more likely to buy?
4. OFFERS / PACKAGES – Are you confident your offers and pricing really solve the problem your customers have? Should it be more or less?
5. LOCATION – Do you know where to find MORE customers so you don’t always feel like you’re scrambling?
6. GOALS – How many customers and packages should you sell to ensure you hit your sales goals?
7. REPEAT BUYERS – What makes some customer repeat buy over and over again? How can you convert more customers to do this?

If you can’t answer 100% YES to all of these questions – don’t worry, we all can get better in these areas and should evolve as our business does…
BUT these are the KEY ELEMENTS you need big picture clarity on to ensuring you hit your revenue goals.
The good news is – if you MAKE TIME to work on creating answers to these questions you will not only hit your goals BUT ALSO reduce stress.
Usually when we are working hard in our business it’s REALLY hard to shift gears and get into the sales mindset. It is a DIFFERENT part of your brain!
So we all need to invest time and energy into ourselves… into our mindset… into the big picture to be able to get where we want to be.
When will you make time this month to just focus on the BIG PICTURE so you are happy with your success at the end of the year?
What you focus on will grow – so you must put it not the calendar and prioritize it.
WHAT IF THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR FORMULA?
Running a business is like being in a live action football game or a fight!
Sometimes it’s really fun but sometimes you’re not winning and can’t figure out why. In those emotional times you need to come back to the fundamentals so you can create a strong plan.
The fundamentals are as simple as memorizing a formula or process that can predictably get you to a desired outcome.
In business that formula starts with:
TOTAL REVENUE – TOTAL COSTS = PROFIT
We want to maximize profit! We can do that by increasing TOTAL REVENUE↑ or decreasing TOTAL COSTS↓
That means you can increase profit two ways – increasing revenue or decreasing costs.
TOTAL REVENUE↑ – TOTAL COSTS = PROFIT↑
OR
TOTAL REVENUE – TOTAL COSTS↓ = PROFIT↑
But in order for any of these elements to work the most important thing is to be sure you have revenue to begin with!
WHAT ARE THE VARIABLES YOU CAN CONTROL:
● TOTAL REVENUE = Price of a product x Quantity of a Product Sold (or P x Q)
● TOTAL COSTS = Variable Costs For Each Unit Sold x Quantity of a Product Sold (or VC X Q) – Fixed Costs (FC)
So we can expand this equation further
TOTAL REVENUE – TOTAL COSTS = PROFIT
P x Q – (VC X Q) – FC = PROFIT
And that means we have these same things in our control – PRICE and QUANTITY
TOTAL REVENUE↑ – TOTAL COSTS = PROFIT↑
(INCREASE PRICES): P↑x Q – (VC X Q) – FC = PROFIT↑
OR
(INCREASE QUANTITY SOLD):Px Q↑ – (VC X Q) – FC = PROFIT↑
